॥ Śivoham ॥

Śivoham is a poem written on Supreme Lord Śiva by Rāmajogayya Śāśtri, for a film that is released recently. Though commercial elements are one reason to avoid such content for devotion, some rare gems with good literature are found here without commotion. And with such intent I have made a small attempt to anglicise it within my means, preserving it's rhythmic & poetic value, for those who love literature. Also the audio is a modulated version of original with commericial content edited out. These are Telugu lyrics in purity, so other script transliterations are not provided.
Context is about the intense tapaśya of the Rāvaṇa Brahma, the great devotee of Śiva and his boon of gaining Ātmalinga, taken from Kailāsa in Himālayās back to Lanka.

Unwavering devotion we dwell
Ceaseless adoration do swell
As celestial Ganga we abide
Upon Śiva's crown it preside.

In his ardous love we leap
As the temple's radiant light
On the locks of Mountain Lord
As the crescent moon we accord.

Desolation of creation's song
Under three-eyed gaze so strong
Sweep of time endless and fraught
Goes like breeze in his elated thought.

Path of detachment when pursued
Universe reveals in ash imbued
Every creature that so thrives
Eternal Om from it so arrives.

Kin to devotee immense and pure
His mercy bestowed vast and sure
Mighty Śiva finds his abode
Lanka's garden bee his mode.

Brahma, Viṣṇu, all of Divine
Seek his presence they incline
Such is he as sought to be mine
Form of Ātman he consign.

Thank you!
